No Online or Automatic Payments
When a debtor is in active bankruptcy, they cannot make payments through their online account. Moreover, if they had set up automatic payments, bankruptcy law requires us to turn off such payments as soon as we become aware of the case. Instead, debtors in active bankruptcy can send voluntary or bankruptcy plan payments using the methods outlined below.
Paying by Check
All debtors in active bankruptcy can mail payments by check to the address below:
ServiceMac, LLC
PO Box 71319,
Charlotte, NC 28272 (Standard Mail check)
Please make checks out to “ServiceMac, LLC.” and include the check slip attached to the monthly billing statement—or, write the loan number on the check’s memo line.
Paying by BillPay
All debtors in active bankruptcy can also send payment via BillPay through their bank by using the below information:
Account number (this is the loan number)
ServiceMac, LLC
PO Box 105178,
Atlanta, GA 30348
Paying by Phone (Chapter 7)
Chapter 7 debtors can make payments over the phone by calling us at 855-913-5997. Non-Chapter 7 debtors in active bankruptcy, however, may not.
💡Tip: While in active bankruptcy, debtors may not set up automatic payments over the phone.
Trustee Payments
If a debtor’s bankruptcy plan requires them to send all mortgage payments to a trustee, they should not send payments to Lakeview—rather, they should send payments to the Trustee.
